Recent Chicago transplant to Oakland in the Bay Area.
I'm genderqueer and my pronouns are the gender-neutral they/them/their. I'm open to other gender-neutral pronouns.
I'm a writer and sculptor interested in social issues and politics. I'm a bit of an audiophile and technophile. I love to cook, read, play games and solve puzzles, as well as debate. Prison and work abolitionist. I'm invested in the eradication of white supremacy and whiteness. Dedicated to anti-racist struggles. Transhumanist. Pirate. Genderqueer/QueerAsFuck. Polyamorous. Kinky. Post-privacy pioneer. "Leftist radical". Y'know...
I'm taking some time off from school to do some unschooling, relax, meet new people, consider my options and contemplate my choices here-to-now.
I'm a student of The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. I'm getting a BFAW. I'm a poet, essayist, object maker (metals and textiles) and interested in social practice art. I'm working to start a practice where I utilize food to open up a dialogue about health, sustainability and community. I'm immensely interested in food justice and systems as a way to talk about community and poverty alleviation. I'm living in Oakland and I'm interested in finding the opportunities the Bay has to offer. Currently writing for the Ella Baker Center's blog.
I write for a few blogs. Mostly about politics, art and culture, but most of them focus on politics and critique.
